I'm thinking of making a character development group. For stories and such. There are a few out there already, but the ones I've glanced at look...neglected.
Basically, it'd be a place for working on and refining characters, through member input and references.

But I'm only going to pursue it if some people are interested. Coffee grinder doesn't work unless you have coffee beans.

Some ideas I have would be:
Interviewing people on the development of their characters
Having a gallery of/ creating tutorials
Having a weekly question (ex. "If your character lived in the world of Harry Potter, who would s/he/it be? What would their life be like?")
Having a list of people's characters and characters they would like critiques on.
Blogs on characters vs. their real life counterparts. (Ex. Lieutenant Kenneth Shea from Rescue Me versus an actual firefighter's life.)
Weekly prompts. (ex. Draw your character growing a beard. Write about your character at a ball.)
